Onboarding, WooCommerce, hosting, and what happens when something breaks.
What is the onboarding fee?
A one-time fee that covers the initial audit, fixing critical issues, and setting up backups, monitoring and baseline security. It depends on the size and condition of the site, and we quote it up front after a free initial review, before you commit to a plan.
Can you maintain a WooCommerce store?
Yes. We maintain WooCommerce stores on the Professional and Premium plans. For stores with meaningful daily revenue we recommend Premium, which adds real-time backups, a staging environment for testing updates before they go live, and advanced security hardening.
Do you need to have built the website to maintain it?
No. Most clients come to us with a site built by another developer, agency or DIY platform. We audit it, bring it up to standard during onboarding, and maintain it from there.
Is hosting included in the maintenance plans?
Hosting can be included. We can host your site on managed servers we control, or maintain it on your existing hosting if it is reliable. Where hosting is included, the cost is confirmed in your quote based on traffic and storage needs.
What counts as content updates?
Text and image changes, new pages built from existing templates, plugin configuration, and small layout tweaks. Professional includes up to two hours a month and Premium up to five. Larger pieces of work, such as new functionality or a redesign, are quoted separately.
What happens if my website goes down or is hacked?
Uptime monitoring alerts us when the site is unreachable and we investigate straight away. If the site is compromised, we clean it, restore from the most recent clean backup, patch the entry point, and report back on what happened and what changed.
